Fendt clearly lead the field in new tractor registrations in Germany in the first two quarters of 2017
The German Federal Office for Motor Vehicles (KBA) published the tractors registration’s half-year results.
With 3,332 units and a market share of 23.6%, Fendt obtained by far the most registrations and finished in 1st place. Compared with the previous year, Fendt increased their numbers by 18.9% and the market share by 3.6%, setting a new record on the way.
In the market segment above 200 HP, Fendt increased their units by 28.4% and the market share by 5.8% to 40.5%. This demonstrates Fendt’s strength when it comes to the Fendt 700, 800, 900 and 1000 Vario high-horsepower tractors.
Andreas Loewel, Manager of German Fendt Sales and Distribution.
“I am rejoiced over Fendt’s terrific results in Germany in the first two quarters of 2017.” says Andreas Loewel, Director of the German Sales Division at Fendt. “I’m delighted to see that the tractor market has accomplished a modest recovery in 2017 following several years of contraction. This is largely because of better prices that farmers can attain for their products and hence reinvest. In addition one must bring to attention that our Fendt dealers and Fendt sales team have done an outstanding job for our customers. The result is an excellent indicator for that.”
