The founding meeting of the Fendt Classic Club International took place on 27 October 2021 at the Fendt Forum in Marktoberdorf, with around 60 participants. The following people were elected to the Executive Board of the Fendt Classic Club International:
First Chairman: Sepp Nuscheler, former Fendt Press Secretary
Vice-Chairman: Karl-Heinz Welz, former transmission factory manager in Marktoberdorf
Vice-Chairman: Walter Wagner, Vice President and Head of Development Fendt Tractors
Treasurer: Bernhard Bartussek, Head of Tax Department AGCO GmbH Marktoberdorf
My grandfather acquired his first Fendt in 1967. I learned how to drive a tractor on this Farmer 3S at the age of six. We pulled it out of the barn into our yard without a battery or any diesel in the tank. I wanted to quickly test whether the engine would turn over at all. When I heard it come to life again, I was nearly brought to tears. I’ll restore it when I get some time. After all, my son will also have to learn to drive a tractor soon.

Walter Wagner and Sepp Nuscheler from the FCCI Executive Board enjoy the lively participation of their members in the discussions and meetings
Fendt fans travelled from Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, South Tyrol and from throughout Germany to attend the first ordinary members’ meeting of the club. They were attracted by an appealing programme with top-class speakers, as well as the ideal opportunity to get to know each other in a sociable setting. At the start of the event the members were also invited on an exclusive tour of the plant, something that had become rare in the previous two years during the pandemic.
Even as a little boy I was fascinated with the Fendt brand. I collected photos and brochures from Fendt. The very best thing for me was when my parents went with me to a display on Sundays. In 1990, our business exchanged the 231 series for a 345 series, which I learned to drive on as a ten-year old and that still exists today with over 13,000 h on the clock.
