Tractor braking assist
Full support on downhill sections
The tractor braking assist (TBA) stabilises the vehicle combination with a pneumatically braked trailer in critical situations. It continuously monitors the degree to which the trailer is pushed onto the tractor and automatically adjusts the brake pressure without the brake pedal having to be pressed. The TBA is only activated when needed, up to a speed of 25 km/h, thus ensuring additional safety while at the same time protecting the field or the sward. It is dependent on speed and towing capacity and can be switched off by the driver if necessary. It is not an anti-roll away system like the sustained-action brake on lorries, and is no substitute for a wear-free sustained-action brake. Overall, the TBA ensures safe and relaxed driving behaviour with a trailer.
