Manage field boundaries, obstacles and waylines
Fields and their boundaries are the basis for tasks, documentation and precise guidance. A standardised field data set for the entire fleet and in the office helps here. If a field is to be divided up for different crops or flower strips, the field boundaries must be adjusted and the size of the sections determined. With FendtONE offboard, you can:
- Import field boundaries and obstacles from application data
- Import recorded field boundaries and waylines from the tractor
- Mark field boundaries and obstacles or correct existing field boundaries and obstacles and view the approximate field size
- Export field boundaries and waylines
- Select the desired field boundaries and waylines for a field and delete unwanted data.
- Store multiple waylines per field for specific activities
Displaying and creating waylines
Creating waylines ensures that resources are applied evenly, avoiding soil compaction for optimal plant growth. However, it is particularly difficult to locate the waylines in the field during pre-emergence application. FendtONE offboard can help:
- With the sowing task report, the waylines are transferred to FendtONE offboard.
- The waylines are assigned to the field and stored.
- When a task for fertiliser or pesticides is created, the waylines are transferred to your tractor and displayed on the terminal.
