First handover of a Fendt IDEAL in Germany

Christopher Nauke already accepted his new Fendt IDEAL combine harvester at the end of April, in a symbolic gesture at the agra, an agricultural technology show in Leipzig. But the new combine harvester will be put to work in the 2019 harvest in Saxony.

Christopher Nauke is a agricultural contractor whose business has recently enjoyed a sharp rise in the number of orders. To meet this demand, he needed a combine with a higher area coverage, hence he has now added a Fendt IDEAL 7 to his fleet. At the agra show – the biggest agricultural technology fair in Central Germany – Christopher Nauke was the first customer in Germany to receive a Fendt IDEAL combine harvester. BayWa as the dealer and Fendt as the manufacturer, who also gave the happy customer a collector's model of a Fendt IDEAL to put in his office, handed it over jointly. Christopher Nauke's contract business will use the large combine for the first time in the 2019 harvest in Chemnitz, Saxony. The Fendt IDEAL was primarily developed for use on large-scale acreage harvested land in different regions of the world.

"With the Fendt IDEAL, we have a high-end combine that will be put to work on large farms around the world, including Germany, of course. The Fendt IDEAL was developed by a global team and will set new standards in terms of threshing performance, quality and fuel consumption. Operations managers on large farms will be able to optimise harvesting costs with this machine," says Andreas Loewel, Sales Manager Fendt Germany. "It was a pleasure to hand over the first Fendt IDEAL combine harvester to Mr. Nauke together with BayWa in Saxony as our very competent dealer. We wish our customer every success with this innovative machine and an excellent harvest season in 2019."
