Forage harvesting with Fendt Slicer: Variety and innovation combined
Fendt Slicer mowers deliver first-class results down to the last blade of grass thanks to precise cutting height and impressive forage quality. The expansion of our portfolio, especially in the area of the Fendt Slicer, demonstrates our diversity and innovation in forage harvesting. Hear first-hand how impressed customers and employees are with Fendt mowers.
The new Slicer takes a silver medal
The new Fendt Slicer mower combination series is packed with innovative technology. A particularly significant feature is the automatic adjustment of the conditioner intensity, which is available on every KC-Pro model in the range. This has a clear objective: more even drying of the forage over the whole field. It is precisely this technical innovation that will be honored by the DLG with the "Innovation Award AGRITECHNICA" in silver at AGRITECHNICA 2023. Visit the Fendt stand at the trade fair and discover the award-winning innovation up close.
The Slicer 960 KCB was run and tested over several cuts under a wide range of conditions at our contracting operation. Whether green rye with a large emergence height or a third cut, the forage quality achieved was always optimal. The extended ground pressure control, which is also controlled via the terminal for the front mower, allows a quick response to changing conditions. The optimised operation allows many adjustments during the mowing process and makes the work easier. The optional automatic side shift of the front mower deck when cornering or the rear mower deck drifts makes mowing more relaxed and will certainly be an important factor in the purchasing decision.
Roland Wahl, Lohnbetrieb Müller
The basic design of our new professional mower combinations is based on the highest quality mechanical components to Fendt standard. On top of this, smart-farming solutions such as site-specific crop processing are now finding their way into the grassland sector. This intelligent interaction of software and hardware creates real added value for our customers – Farmer First!

Fendt Slicer
960/1010
Wide range of mower combinations for contractors & large farms
With the Fendt Slicer 960/1010 newly developed from the ground up, we complete our butterfly programme in twelve ways. The new Fendt Slicer range offers contractors and large farms a diverse choice of machines to meet the increased demands in ever-shorter stable weather conditions. Harvest energy-rich and clean forage with the desired dry matter.
What makes the Slicer 960/1010 so unique?
The focus of the twelve new machines is on more efficient harvesting and high area output, with optional tine or roller conditioner and conveyor belts. With working widths of 9.30 or 9.60 metres for the Fendt Slicer 960 and 9.80 or 10.10 metres for the Fendt Slicer 1010, they are available in three equipment versions.
Automatic adjustment of the conditioner intensity
Speed-dependent cutter bar relief
Automatic side shift of the front mower unit
High throughput thanks to conveyor belt and BeMove

More mowing experience
With the expansion of the Fendt Slicer 960/1010 series, we offer you more comfort, more efficiency, more forage quality and more security. Experience the new dimension of Fendt forage harvest now!
The new Fendt Slicer series is available in three equipment versions. But what special functions do the different versions have to offer? Here we have listed all the details for you.
Faster to quality forage: Fendt Slicer 960/1010 with tine conditioner (KC) or roller conditioner (RC)
The basic versions of the mowers, which are low-suspended in the centre of gravity and are compactly mounted, are available with either a tine or roller conditioner.
Optimally matched to the Streamline cutter bar, the conditioners ensure an air-permeable forage structure even in fuel-saving ECO mode operation.
For precise control of the wilting process, the tine conditioner has a four-stage, easily adjustable ridge.
The roller conditioner with the standard DUO Drive enables gentle and efficient crop treatment, even in bulkier and wetter stands. In addition, it offers the possibility to conveniently vary the contact pressure and is equipped with a spring-loaded protection device in case of the entry of foreign bodies.
More area with more comfort: Fendt Slicer 960/1010 KC/RC PRO WITH ISOBUS
The new PRO variants are impressive with unique ISOBUS automation functions that make time-critical harvesting even more convenient, reduce set-up times and lead to increased forage quality.
A even dry matter content over the entire cut increases the quality of the forage. The PRO models allow the condition-related adjustment of the conditioner intensity depending on the mass emergence by instant counter-ridge adjustment from the cab. This is done either automatically and conveniently via biomass sensors on the tractor or satellite data-based application maps, or via manual control using the ISOBUS terminal.
For a clean cut: The speed-dependent TurboLift regulation exerts the required contact pressure at all times and regulates the mower settings particularly precisely, even when the working speed changes.
On slopes and curves, the new mower combinations control the side shift of the Fendt Slicer FQ front mowers fully automatically depending on the slope or steering movement. This counteracts the formation of stripes with cost-intensive re-mowing or loss of forage.
The full range: Fendt Slicer 960/1010 KCB/RCB WITH CONVEYOR BELT & ISOBUS
The B models of the series have the powerful and deep conveyor belts with the hydraulic side shift "beMOVE". With the swath combination, they not only allow flexible wide swaths of 1.80 - 3.00 metres, but also a normal width distribution. In addition, you benefit from optimised edge mowing when folding on one side and from working width adjustment to following harvesters when driving with and against the machine.
