Fendt MOMENTUM planter receives first award in Moldova

At the beginning of the planting season, the important Moldagrotech (spring) agricultural technology trade fair is held in the Republic of Moldova. This year, the expert jury honoured the Fendt MOMENTUM precision planter with a Golden Ear.

Fendt MOMENTUM planter receives first award in Moldova

Ion Calmis and Oleksandr Maroseiev (both Sales Manager DiazTech) in front of the Fendt MOMENTUM 16 received the award and the diploma from the jury.

At the most important agricultural machinery trade fair in the Republic of Moldova, Fendt sales partner DiazTech exhibited the Fendt MOMENTUM 16 precision planter, which was awarded the Golden Ear by a jury of experts, as well as various Fendt tractors and a Fendt straw walker combine harvester. The Util pentru Moldova" (translated: "Useful for Moldova") contest is held every six months at the trade fair. There, Roman Braguta, Product Manager DiazTech, presented the innovative technology of the precision planter and the efficiency gains for farmers. The numerous advantages convinced the jury of specialists in agricultural technology and the agricultural sector.

"Agriculture is an important part of Moldova's economy. At 12 per cent, it has a significant share of the GDP. The local farmers grow a variety of crops. The three most important are wheat, corn and sunflowers. Our customers run farms with 500 to 2,000 hectares of arable land and count on premium technology from Fendt and a reliable sales partner like DiazTech during the short harvesting windows," explains Anton Kostyrko, Marketing Service Manager Fendt for Eastern Europe. "We are particularly pleased about the Golden Ear for the Fendt MOMENTUM. It shows that Fendt is setting the benchmark in planting with a high-precision planter."

The biannual trade fair is one of the most important platforms for agricultural machinery manufacturers, technology companies and new varieties. This year, manufacturers and dealers from 10 countries took part:

About Moldagrotech

Moldagrotech in Chișinău is an international trade fair for machinery, technologies and materials for the agricultural industry. It takes place every six months in spring and autumn at the MoldExpo International Exhibition Centre in Chișinău and is organised by IEC MoldExpo in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova. The fair offers the largest regional platform where local and foreign manufacturers can present new machines and technologies. MOLDAGROTECH takes place every six months and will be held again in autumn 2025.
