The Fendt Slicer Alpine front mowers 210 FKS and 260 FK with 2.05 m or 2.50 m working width impress with their compact cutterbar with extremely short direct attachment, which has been specially designed for use with light mountain tractors and dual-axle mowers. With their centre of gravity close to the tractor, they offer ideal interaction with these machines, relieve the rear axle and thus enable stable driving in the contour line. This design not only ensures optimum tracking stability on steep slopes, but also minimises forage losses and guarantees the loss-free harvesting of valuable forage on mountain pastures.

Perfect ground tracking for a clean cut on any terrain
With a swing path of +/- 9°, the mowers adapt perfectly to the ground conditions and deliver a clean cut even on uneven terrain. A spring-loaded collision guard protects against damage in the event of collisions with obstacles and contributes to the durability of the mowers.

The Fendt Slicer 260 FP and Slicer 260 FPS mowers with a working width of 2.50 m are characterised by their flexible oscillating linkage, which offers a high degree of adaptability to coupled ground conditions, whether in contour or fall line. With a oscillation path of +/- 4.5°, the mowers follow the ground contour effortlessly, ensuring a uniform cutting height and protection of the sward. The special design enables particularly compact mounting, which emphasises the flexibility of these mowers when used with manoeuvrable mountain tractors as well as lightweight standard tractors. The cutting unit is suspended at the centre of gravity and is evenly loaded across the entire working width thanks to the spring relief on the tractor side. The robust spring centring prevents bouncing when raising at the headland on slopes and during transport. The foldable side guard and the compact transport dimensions of just 2.50 m outside width ensure a high level of safety when travelling on the road.

With a working width of 3.00 m, the Fendt Slicer 310 FPK is ideal for efficient use in mountainous regions. Thanks to the oscillation path of +/- 6.5°, the mower adapts perfectly to the ground contours, resulting in a uniform cutting height and protection of the sward. In addition, the driveGUARD overload protection offers outstanding protection against damage caused by overloading, which significantly increases the durability and reliability of the mower.

The Alpine S models are equipped with a lateral displacement of the mower unit, which makes slope mowing even more efficient. Drifting can be counteracted and streaking avoided, especially when mowing in contour lines. The lateral displacement also optimises the overlap when cornering. The lateral displacement can be mechanical or hydraulic and is steplessly adjustable. With the Slicer 260 FPS, the displacement is 42 cm in total (+/- 21 cm to the left and right), while with the Slicer 210 FKS it is 24 cm in total (+/- 12 cm to the left and right).

The compact angle drive of the Fendt Slicer cutterbar utilises a continuous hexagonal shaft, which ensures even power transmission and excellent cutting quality. This design ensures reliability and durability, even under demanding conditions. In addition, the drives are available with 540 rpm and 1000 rpm, which offers flexibility in use.

The large-dimensioned mowing discs of the Fendt Slicer mowers achieve an efficient cutting performance thanks to a large overlap that is positioned far forward. The four mower discs running symmetrically to the centre with feed drums on both sides enable very good, even swath delivery on slopes and an optimum conveying effect even when driving downhill. By simply replacing the angular gearbox, it is also possible to run in pairs.

The driveGUARD overload protection on Fendt Slicer mowers reliably protects the mower and transmission from damage caused by foreign objects in the crop flow. If the mower disc is blocked, the driveGUARD disc shears off at the four predetermined breaking points and interrupts the drive train, allowing the mower disc to rotate freely and preventing loss.

The ComfortChange blade quick-change system enables the mower blades on Fendt Slicer mowers to be changed quickly and easily.
