The new Slicer 860/960 mower combinations are among the lightest in their class and are available with and without tine/roller conditioners. The compact and light-weight butterfly mowers combine profitable work and innovation with proven features such as the powerful TurboLift relief technology. The imaginative design concept, innovative cutter bar technology and numerous comfort details underline the user-friendliness and performance of this mower range.

In this series of lightweight slicer mower combinations, the advantages of the weight-optimised construction with the most modern Fendt drive technology, high power and efficiency are combined. The efficient power transfer of the drive concept enables fuel-saving mowing with a reduced speed of 850 rpm and also the use of tractors with lower HP numbers.
The low pivot point of the lifting arms result in a low centre of gravity for the mower and thus ensure greater transport safety. Despite a working width of 9.60 m, the mower units remain below the legally permissible transport height of 4.00 metres.
Suspension for better ground adjustment
The towed mower units are suspended centrally in the centre of gravity. This ensures excellent trailing, optimal ground tracking and prevents the cutter bar getting stuck in the ground. In combination with the curved-form extension arm, the mowing units achieve a pendulum travel of +30° to -19° and effects the compensation of unevenness and height differences. The integrated compensation cylinder prevents rocking on the headland.

EasySwing collision protection
The mower combinations 860, 860 KC, 860 RC and 960 models are equipped with comfortable mechanical and light collision protection. The mower is deflected upwards to the rear and flies over the obstacle (approx. 9° to the rear, approx. 400 mm upwards). The pivot point is located in the middle of the mower combination and the mowing unit folds back into the working position by itself. This provides effective protection against damage caused by objects being hit.

“The Slicer disc mowers cut the stalks cleanly in all conditions (standing crop), even with very low growth. The oscillation paths of the mowers (front +/- 7.5°, rear +30°/-19°) were also sufficient when driving through hollows and small ditches. Faster to quality forage: Fendt Slicer 960/1010 with tine conditioner (KC) or roller conditioner (RC)
The basic versions of the mowers, which are low-suspended in the centre of gravity and are compactly mounted, are available with either a tine or roller conditioner.
Optimally matched to the Streamline cutter bar, the conditioners ensure an air-permeable forage structure even in fuel-saving ECO mode operation.
For precise control of the wilting process, the tine conditioner has a four-stage, easily adjustable ridge.
The roller conditioner with the standard DUO Drive enables gentle and efficient crop treatment, even in bulkier and wetter stands. In addition, it offers the possibility to conveniently vary the contact pressure and is equipped with a spring-loaded protection device in case of the entry of foreign bodies.

The new PRO variants are impressive with unique ISOBUS automation functions that make time-critical harvesting even more convenient, reduce set-up times and lead to increased forage quality.
An even dry matter content over the entire cut increases the quality of the forage. The PRO models allow the condition-related adjustment of the conditioner intensity depending on the mass emergence by instant counter-ridge adjustment from the cab. This is done either automatically and conveniently via biomass sensors on the tractor or satellite data-based application maps, or via manual control using the ISOBUS terminal.
For a clean cut: The speed-dependent TurboLift regulation exerts the required contact pressure at all times and regulates the mower settings particularly precisely, even when the working speed changes.
On slopes and curves, the new mower combinations control the side shift of the Fendt Slicer FQ front mowers fully automatically depending on the slope or steering movement. This counteracts the formation of stripes with cost-intensive re-mowing or loss of forage.

The B models of the series have the powerful and deep conveyor belts with the hydraulic lateral displacement "beMOVE". With the swath combination, they not only allow flexible wide swaths of 1.80 - 3.00 metres, but also a normal width distribution. In addition, you benefit from optimised edge mowing when folding on one side and from working width adjustment to following harvesters when driving with and against the machine.

Homogeneous dry mass through constantly adjusted conditioning of the harvested matter
The automatic adjustment is made using sensors in real time measurements or using application data based on the position registration of the biomass. The TaskController passes the corresponding values to the mower job processor. The intensity adjustment is made continuously via the adjustment of the counter comb. The rear unit can also control an equivalently equipped FQ front mounted mower. The conditioner intensity can be adjusted at any time directly via the terminal of the tractor.

Automated adjustment of the overcut on slopes and curves
With Fendt Slicer ISOBUS mower combinations, no grass is left standing. The hydraulic lateral displacement of the FQ front mounted mower in combination with the intelligent butterflies make sure of that. Slopes are recognized by a slope sensor in the rear mower. The mower combination actively counters drift and the lateral displacement of the front mounted mower is activated accordingly, completely automatically. When cornering, the lateral displacement is adjusted by the steering movements of the tractor. This ensures optimum overcutting and avoids striping and costly re-mowing.
Speed-dependent TurboLift system
The hydropneumatic cutter bar relief provides for optimal contact pressure through the floating cut. The Fendt Slicer 960/1010 Pro models go beyond the pure control of the contact pressure. It permanently controls it depending on speed and constantly applies the required contact pressure at every working speed. The system works very precisely even in changing working speeds and the intensity can be adjusted to the conditions on three levels. The intelligent rear mounted mower also automatically adapts the contact pressure of comparably equipped FQ front mower.
Setting the tone
With mower combinations with ISOBUS, the optional TIM allows for steering of the tractor by the rear mower. The lower links are controlled back and front on the headland and when transitioning into transport position. In addition, the TIM also controls the ISOBUS function of the FQ font mower.
Mowing unit combinations with ISOBUS and conveyor belt
Full bandwidth and highly flexible With the B-models of the Fendt Slicer mower combinations you determine how you want to harvest. The machines have the powerful and deep conveyor belts with the hydraulic lateral displacement BeMove. They can widely deposit the cut crop just as needed, convey on one side or centrally deposit on a single swath. All depending on the harvest conditions and trailed machines.
High throughput and adaptability thanks to conveyor belt and BeMove
The new Fendt Slicer belt mowers offer the highest throughput and are designed for moderate stocks, high working speeds and powerful trailed machines. The deep conveyor belts with infinitely adjustable speeds have their own oil supply that is simultaneously cooled by the grass ejection. The use of these rear mowers ensures the highest flexibility when depositing the harvest.
Swath consolidation
For the immediate collection of a middle swath by the retrieval machine, both conveyor belts are extended down. The swath width can be optimally regulated by BeMove an the infinitely adjustable speed

Flexibility makes the perfect cut. You can use the Fendt Slicer with conveyor belt in any weather! Thanks to the folding belt units, you can transform the machine in to a normal large area mower in the blink of an eye and spread the forage at the full width for better drying.
Edging
The Fendt Slicer conveyor belts are the optimal solution for mowing at the edges of the field. With an active belt unit on the outer edge of the field, they ensure that no harvest material is lost.
BeMove, for the perfect swath
BeMove, the hydraulic side shifting of the conveyor belts by 60 cm, enables swath widths from 1.80 m to 2.80 m in combination with the adjustable belt speed. This increases the efficiency even in the mowing process, because the swath can be rapidly adjusted to the requirements of the, possibly changing, trailing pick-up machine. The professional function of BeMove forms the perfect completed swath on the headland using automatic inward shifting of both belts. A constant swath line is ensured even on slopes and when cornering. The shift of the conveyor belts occurs on slopes depending on the slope sensor, when cornering, through the steering angle of the tractor.
