The Fendt driveGUARD overload protection system reliably protects the mower unit and transmission from damage in the event of foreign objects in the crop flow. The overload disc is connected to the drive train and the mower disc. If a single mower disc is blocked, the DriveGuard disc shears off at six predetermined breaking points and interrupts the drive train. In just a few minutes, the DriveGuard disc can be quickly replaced and work can continue. The DriveGuard disc guard is located outside the cutterbar. Opening for repair is therefore not necessary.
