Threshing drum

The threshing drum of the Fendt CORUS 500 is characterized by its versatility. With a diameter of 600 mm and a width of 1,340 mm with 8 rasp bars, it is characterized by particularly gentle and thorough threshing. This makes it ideally suited for various threshing crops from cereals and rapeseed to grain corn and peas.


Different wire spacing for outstanding threshing quality

For an optimal threshing result, the threshing concave has different areas with different wire spacing. The rear section of the concave has half as many wires as the front section. Thus, the ratio between threshing and separation area is optimal. To optimize threshing quality depending on the crop, the front and rear of the concave can be adjusted independently directly from the cab. A sectional threshing concave is available for even more versatility.
