Our collaboration with Farmsafe demonstrates our commitment to working on initiatives aimed at ensuring that every farmer, worker, and family member can thrive in a secure and supportive environment," says Fergal Meehan, Marketing Director for Fendt ANZ.

The safety and well-being of farmers operating Fendt products is paramount. "We provide farmer-focused solutions tailored to farmers' success, prioritizing their safety in everything we do. A well thought-out, sustainable system: An e-combination of tractor, range extender and hoe

The “Farm to Fork” strategy of the European Green Deal combines three targets: reducing the use of crop protection products by 50 per cent, drastically cutting CO2 emissions and increasing the number of organic businesses by 25 per cent by 2030. To allow farmers to reach these targets, Fendt has conceived a combination of the battery-electric Fendt e100 Vario with a range extender and an electrically-powered hoe. By using Green Energy and with minimal CO2 emissions the use of crop protection products is significantly reduced at the same time. Fendt has developed the unit consisting of tractor and hoe together with Lauwen Agro Engineering. The range extender was created in a partnership between AGCO Power and BlueWorld. The overall concept of the combination also forms the basis for future autonomous operation.
