In the performance class from 150 to 300 hp, there is no way around these two tractor series. With the lowest diesel consumption ever measured in their respective category in the DLG PowerMix test, they are setting new standards in terms of fuel efficiency – both in the field and in transport. At the same time, they offer a high payload, impressive manoeuvrability and, with VarioDrive, the latest drive technology. Numerous awards from practical and the trade press prove what the technical specifications have long shown: the Fendt 600 Vario and the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 set the bar at a new level.

Best marks for consumption

The Fendt 620 Vario is impressive in the 165 - 240 hp performance class with the lowest ever measured diesel consumption. This makes it more economical than all previous test candidates in the DLG PowerMix test (pro 6/2025) for mixed work and in the partial load range on average over 10 - 15%.

Top values in performance and consumption

The Fendt 728 Vario consumed only 242 g/kWh in the DGL PowerMix test. This puts it almost consistently into the double-digit percentage range as more economical than the average of all tested tractors (profi 2/2024).
